Publishing Workshop
Publishing Workshop

The Publishing Workshop is a space for production, research, and conceptual development dedicated to printed media. Focused on micro-publishing, zine culture, and experimental editorial practices, it aims to support students through every stage of developing and producing their projects.
Equipped with a complete production chain, from prepress to finishing and binding, it also houses a documentation collection combining technical resources, historical materials, and artistic references. As an environment that encourages experimentation, the workshop is dedicated to developing practical skills and fostering students’ autonomy.
The Publishing Workshop features a paper library with around fifty different paper references, as well as several laser printers capable of producing proofs up to 1,200 mm in length, in full color (CMYK), two-color, or monochrome printing. It is also equipped with a wide range of finishing and bookbinding tools, including a guillotine cutter, presses, a paper shear, a thermal binding machine, comb and wire binding machines, a creasing machine, a saddle stapler, a manual sewing machine, a hot foil stamping press, and more. Access to a digital cutting machine in the Painting Workshop and a laser cutter in the Wood Workshop further expands the possibilities in terms of formats, materials, and production processes.
The life of the Editing Workshop revolves around a programme of courses, talks, workshops, and study trips that enrich creative practices and foster dialogue with invited artists, graphic designers, publishers, and researchers.
