Opening hours

From 1 June 2026, the Villa Arson gardens are open to the public every afternoon, from 2 pm to 6 pm, and until 7 pm in July and August.

The art center is not currently presenting any exhibitions.

The upcoming exhibitions, Staring at the Sun and Dany Albiach, will be on view from 10 July to 27 September 2026 (vernissage on Thursday 9 July at 6 pm).

Annual closures: 1 May; 24, 25, 26 and 31 December; and 1 and 2 January.

Entrance is free and no reservation is required.

The library is open to the public free of charge every year from 3 October to 30 June.

Getting to Villa Arson

Address: 20 avenue Stephen Liégeard, 06105 Nice Cedex 2

Tram: line 1, direction Henri Sappia (stop: Le Ray). Then it’s a 10-minute walk, following signs for “Villa Arson” via rue Paul Mallarède and rue Joseph d’Arbaud.

Bus: no. 8+, direction Saint-Sylvestre (stop: Deux avenues). Then follow signs for “Villa Arson” as far as avenue Stephen Liégeard.

From the airport (T1 or T2): tram line B direction Cadam Center Administratif (stop: Grand Arenas). Then take line 3, direction Port Lympia (stop: Jean Médecin), followed by line 1, direction Henri Sappia (stop: Le Ray).

By car: from the A8 motorway, take exit 54 (Nice Nord), then follow signs for “center ville”, bd Gorbella and “Villa Arson”; from the Promenade des Anglais, take bd Gambetta, then bd de Cessole, and follow signs for “Villa Arson”.

Accessibility

Most of the outside spaces (gardens and terraces) and the exhibition rooms are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.

If you need to park a vehicle on Villa Arson’s grounds (in the absence of a reserved space on the nearby public road) it is advisable to notify the reception team in advance on +33 (0)4 92 07 73 73. Don’t forget to bring your disabled parking permit with you when you visit.
