textile workshop/soft materials

The workshop is open from Monday to Thursday throughout the school year, starting at 8:30 AM.

It is accessible to all students, from 1st to 5th year.

Individual training over four to five half-days, scheduled according to their timetable, is offered to all interested students, consisting of creating a garment (shirt, dress, or trousers) while covering the entire production process (pattern making, cutting, assembly, sewing, etc.).

This training provides a solid foundation for developing personal projects independently, regardless of their nature.

Depending on their projects and skills, various available machines and diverse techniques are offered. The projects can be extremely varied: creating performance costumes, pattern making, textile sculpture, molding, heat bonding, etc.

Students receive technical support, in conjunction with other workshops (wood, metal, etc.), to complete their projects and address hanging issues related to their pieces.

Equipment/industrial machines: DURKOPP ADLER 267, flat triple feed, TEXI triple feed post bed, BERNINA 217N, JACK overlock machine.

Equipment/domestic machines: SINGER Supera.

Workshop Manager: Éric Grandbarbe
