Welcoming exchange students

Students from partner institutions that have signed an agreement with Villa Arson are hosted at the school, usually for one semester. They are selected by an internal committee composed of representatives from the International Relations Office and the academic staff, based on the review of their artistic portfolio.

Exchange students earn 30 credits per semester according to the program outlined in their study contract and following regular assessment of their work by the faculty.

Application files must be submitted no later than May 15 for the first semester (late September – early February) of the following academic year, or no later than November 15 for the second semester (February – June), after the student has been nominated by the International Relations Office of their home institution.

Most classes at Villa Arson are taught in French. A good command of French is therefore necessary to follow the courses and actively participate in campus life.

Application Procedure

The application file includes:

  • a passport-sized photograph ;
  • a registration form to be completed ;
  • a cover letter in French ;
  • a PDF portfolio (maximum 8 MB) presenting 10 recent artistic works;
