For its third edition, the 2025 Marguerite and Méthode Keskar Prize is awarded to Nanka Gogitidze, a 2025 graduate of Villa Arson. Created by the Marguerite and Méthode Keskar Foundation – hosted by the Fondation de France – the prize aims to recognize the work of a young artist under 40, graduated from Villa Arson, whose practice focuses on painting or sculpture.

The Marguerite and Méthode Keskar Foundation, hosted by the Fondation de France, was established in 1997 through the will of Madame Marguerite Keskar. She wished to create a foundation in her name and that of her husband, who dedicated his life to painting.

nanka gogitidze
A 2025 graduate of Villa Arson, Nanka Gogitidze currently lives and works in Paris. Her work explores fragility within systems of control, evoking a poetry of anxiety and rupture. Through metal, 3D-printed plastic, and electronics, her sculptures and installations create a cold, clinical atmosphere where mechanics become a language. Motorized devices rotate in loops, imitating efficiency to the point of absurdity, revealing the sterility of our productive logics. Between irony and “teenage hate,” her fragile structures confront the viewer with a persistent unease, oscillating between failure, tension, and collective discomfort.
