Pivô

Pivô is a non-profit art space conceived as a platform for exchange, critical reflection, and artistic experimentation, located in one of São Paulo’s most iconic modernist buildings, the Copan, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Since its creation in 2012, the institution has supported and facilitated projects by more than 400 local and international artists and curators at all stages of their careers.

Villa Fatumbi

Created by the French Embassy in Brazil in 2025, Villa Fatumbi is a new cultural cooperation program that connects artists, institutions, festivals, and cultural organizations in France, Brazil, and Africa.

Conceived as an innovative interface fostering dialogue between cultures and the arts, the program draws inspiration from existing models of French cultural diplomacy, such as Villa Swagatam in India or Villa Albertine in the United States. It distinguishes itself, however, through its innovative and adaptable ‘archipelago-network’ model: a shared space for dialogue where each member of Villa Fatumbi remains autonomous and independent, while sharing common values and a collective vision.

This cultural cooperation program also introduces a new framework for exchanges between France, Brazil, and Africa (Benin and Côte d’Ivoire), with the aim of promoting contemporary creation and supporting the development of the creative economy.
