Magnetic is a Franco-UK initiative that brings together ten institutions in a program of artist residencies between France and the UK.
Artists from one of five regions in France (Bretagne, Hauts-de-France, Île-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, PACA) are invited to apply for the residency in the associated UK nation, and artists from each UK nation are invited to apply for the residency in the associated French region.
Magnetic 4 offers 2 to 3-month residencies tailored to the needs of the host organization, a monthly stipend of £2,100 / 2 500 €, individual accommodation and workspace, curatorial mentoring and international networking.
The call for applications is open until July 14, 2025, with residencies starting in Winter 2025.
